Muhammad Imran Arif is a highly experienced physiotherapist with over a decade of expertise in the field. Trained in Pakistan, Imran has honed his skills and knowledge to specialize in orthopedics and neuro rehabilitation. He has extensive experience in post-operative care, particularly following knee, ankle, elbow, shoulder, hip, and spine surgeries. His special interest areas include post hip, knee, and shoulder replacement surgeries, knee and ankle ligament surgeries, rotator cuff tears, and comprehensive post-surgical rehabilitation.
In addition to his surgical rehabilitation expertise, Imran specializes in treating whiplash, performing vestibular assessments for vertigo and dizziness, managing concussions, and addressing back and neck pain. Throughout his career, Imran has worked with patients suffering from various neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and facial palsy. He is also proficient in providing in-home physiotherapy services, ensuring that patients receive the care they need in the comfort of their own homes.
Currently, Imran practices in Abbotsford and Surrey, BC, where he is committed to delivering high-quality physiotherapy services. Alifiya Sirohiwala is a Registered Physiotherapist who graduated from Coventry University with a Masters in Clinical Physiotherapy. With over 4 years of clinical experience, she specializes in Adult Neurological Rehabilitation, Concussion, Vestibular Rehabilitation and treating Orthopedics Conditions such as Hip and Knee Replacements, Fractures, Ligaments, TMJ and Meniscus Injuries. Alifiya has worked in various Neuro and Orthopedic specialties including Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation units, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Oncology Rehabilitation. She is also certified in Neurodevelopment Therapy for Adult Hemiplegia. Alifiya is passionate about helping and encouraging her patients to achieve their goals and functional independence through physical therapy. Outside of work, you can find her hiking, visiting places on her bucket list, and practicing yoga.
I graduated from VCMT with a background working at high end spa’s bodyworking previous to graduation. I enjoy my free time mountain biking, rockclimbing and being outdoors. I also travel often - most recent japan, bali, mexico, peru. Withstanding many minor injuries throughout my adventurous life I found decreasing tension in the nervous system can be a great start to healing and getting better and is where i found massage. I have a big shephard dog and we can be found at the river or in the mountains daily.
